Christmas is coming!
Where has this year gone? Is it just me, or has this year absolutely flown since the summer. The Aesthetic Treatment Rooms has had an absolutely crazy year, we cannot believe how much we have fitted in. We also managed a professional photo shoot…yes the photo for this IS from that. It’s our favourite!
Our Run Down Of 2022
We started the year having found out that we were finalists for The Aesthetics Awards 2022, in the category of The ReLife Award for Best New Clinic, UK & Ireland. Rachel and I had a trip to London in March and attended the Aesthetics Conference & Exhibition to see what’s what in the world of Aesthetics. Unfortunately, we didn’t win but had a great time none the less. We have since won 3 other awards: Aesthetic Clinic of the Year - Tyne & Wear Customer Service Excellence Award 2022, Best Facial and Anti-Ageing Treatment Provider, 2022 - Newcastle upon Tyne, and Highly Commended Award at The North East Beauty Industry Awards 2022. Let’s not forget in 2022 we also had to deal with having Covid, a flood in the clinic and Rachel also moved house!
New Treatments
2022 has seen the introduction of new treatments, such as: Karisma Mesotherapy and No-needle mesotherapy. The learning never stops at The Aesthetic Treatment Rooms. We only want to provide the best treatments to our patients. There were some treatments we tried but they just haven’t made the cut for our clinic and we decided against providing them.
The Aesthetic Training Rooms
At the start of 2022 we decided to look into becoming a training academy. The Aesthetics world is so unregulated that we have had our fingers burnt by unscrupulous training academies in the past and we wanted to provide reliable training courses that we fully insurable and accredited that delegates could have confidence in. We both gained our Level 3 in Adult Education Teaching this year, we have written 4 courses and had them accredited. The insurance company we used also put their name behind the courses making us proud to be a recognised training provider for Cosmetic Insure. Training is also provided in partnership with ShopBeautiful/MedFx and WOW Fusion so we are authorised to provide training with the very best products on the market. Training is online for theory (yes, we also did the training platform ourselves too!) and hands-on in clinic.
We were super-excited to facilitate 2 webinars for ShopBeautiful on BioRePeel, 1NEED Microneedling device and ARES mesotherapy in October and November. In addition to the short educational videos we have provided, we hope that we have already helped some practitioners with these products.
In November we had an email to inform us we had won an award for our training. We were astounded! The Aesthetic Training Rooms is officially 2023’s Leading Aesthetics Training & Education Specialists - UK.
2023 Is Just Around The Corner
What will 2023 hold for Dr Helen and Rachel??? We can’t wait to find out either!
